Gary Holtgrewe says: My 1960 Thunderbird was first purchased by Gerald Heintz while in Florida in the minor leagues. He moved back to Illinois and did farming. I worked for him baling hay a saw the car up on blocks and offered his wife $60.00 for it and it was mine on July 1, 1969. I bought a 1960 Hardtop with a good motor and put the two together and have a great convertible. This was my first car at the age of 16.
