In July 2016 this 1961 Thunderbird was offered for sale on ebay and was located in Peshastin, Washington. The mileage was reported to be 99,020 miles. It has power windows and does not have Swing-Away Steering Wheel. - - - - - - - - UPDATE November 2016, Steffen Heil notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. It now resides in Germany and he says: I bought the car from the 2nd owner, first owner kept the car till 1981, 2nd owner till 2016 (husband passed away a few years ago and it was sold to me). It will now be carefully technical and optical revised and will stay original. The T-Bird is painted in "Fieldstone tan", with "Pearl beige interior". it has Power windows, Power driver seat, 2nd outside mirror and AM radio (replaced with retrosound unit). The car is one of the first bullet birds build, with old style brake booster.
