Gilbert Buras says: I purchased this 1961 Thunderbird Hardtop from the original little old lady owner in Ocean City (New Jersey) in 1985 with only 35,000 on the clock. I had it repainted from Mahogany to Desert Gold and Corinthian White. It has a perfect beige interior. It is sleek, fast and literally unstoppable, it was driven until the kids came along. Sold to a lady lawyer who cherished it for about 5 years, (even had an oil portrait done with her sitting in it), then let it sit in her yard and rust and gave the remains to her nephew around 1997. The whereabouts are now unknown. All I have left is the original owner's manual. A shame.
