Warren Marcotti says: I purchased this 1961 Thunderbird about 6 years ago. It is in excellent shape. I looked for this type of T-bird for a long time - the car has no options except for a radio and heater…no power windows, Swing-Away Steering Wheel, or air conditioning. The Thunderbird has been repainted; the original color was gray metallic with a black roof. Currently she's all black with black interior. It car was located only 70 miles away stored in a barn for the last 28 years. And in the trunk was a extra intake manifold with three two barrels complete with linkage, fuel block and air cleaner wrapped in plastic. I am not sure if it is an original intake for a Thunderbird because the intake is aluminum, not cast iron. Once I rebuild the 390 motor the tri-power will be installed. The T-bird is taken to car shows during the summer months. My wife and I just love the way the car looks and drives. - - - - - Arthur Ash reports that as of April, 2005 it was for sale on eBay and located in Salem, Oregon.
