This 1961 Thunderbird Hardtop sold at the Vintage Motor Cars at Hershey Auction (Lot #312) for $25,300 in June 2008. It is burgundy with a beige interior and was treated to a cosmetic restoration. At the time it had 26,350 miles showing on the odometer, which are believed to be original. It has SelectAire Conditioner, dual outside mirrors, tinted glass, fender shields, power windows, and radio. It does not have an optional Swing-Away Steering Wheel. Phil Skinner reports he saw it at the RM auction in Pennsylvania, October 2007. UPDATE May 2017 it is for sale in Jupiter, Florida.
