This is a 1961 Thunderbird. It has a blue vinyl interior (52). It was scheduled for production on January 19, 1961 (19A). This Thunderbird was spotted at the Knott's All-Ford Show in Buena Park, California on April 17, 2005. UPDATE July 2016, John R. Peters Jr. notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says: I bought the car from a 22 year old kid at the Long Beach swapmeet…. Girl friend drove it, but got tired of it. As near as I can figure, I am the fifth owner. I have a bunch of receipts that go way back to 1982. It looks like it spent most of its life in the Modesto, CA area. It was originally Diamond Blue when I got her. I did not know a lot about the classic car world, and made the gigantic mistake of having it painted the day after I got her. Never did take any pics… Big mistake !!!!! I went to many car shows and events for the first 10 years, but have since slowed down. Have all of this info on a poster board, and have had many interesting conversations over the years !!!!!
