Barry says: My 1961 Thunderbird Hardtop was sitting in a front yard with grass growing around it. It had been neglected for years and was heading to the junk yard as parts or to be smashed up into a cube and make a new car. I wanted a project car to make a hard top into a convertible. I bought the car around 1995 and have been tinkering on it ever since. It's not perfect and it's not a true convertible but it does have a convertible top and looks good, top up or down. It is a driver car and since most of the mechanics have been completed, it is time for paint in 2018. It should go in for paint in 2 weeks or sooner and be done for sure by August. It will be Red with white interior and updated to 63 tail lights.
