Larry Morley says: My 1961 Thunderbird Hardtop is mostly original. The engine is unchanged except for replacement items. The interior is completely original with only drivers seat and carpet showing some wear. It had a body repaint to a new color in 1974. It had 34,400 documented miles as of 2012. It has been driven with extreme pleasure approximately 1000 miles per year since owned. It is a solid #3 car. Whatever happened, or hasn't happened to the market for these wonderful big birds?
