In January 2016 this 1961 Thunderbird Hardtop was offered for sale on ebay and was located in Reading, PA. The mileage was reported to be 79,206 miles. UPDATE April 2016, R. E. Smith notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says: My Thunderbird had a factory engine replacement in 1965 and has not been on the road since 1976. It is now undergoing restoration and will be a driver; the engine fired up when it was started recently.
