Paulo de Moura says: I bought my 1961 Thunderbird Convertible in Jacksonville, Florida from "Blackford's Dreamcars" in February 1989. When the car arrived in Switzerland, first thing I had to do was rebuild the whole power train. The car looked nice at the dealer, but once delivered, it turned out to be a "wreck". After investing a lot of money and time the car today is restored to original conditions and is a real eye catcher. It won some awards at European "US-Car Shows" because of its excellent condition. I've driven this beauty almost everywhere in Europe without any serious problems. I've modified the original AM radio, and added an auxiliary input for an MP3 Player, so the original radio now plays (almost) CD quality music. It has a tonneau cover and a continental kit.
