Devlin Shipley says: I believe I am the second owner of this 1961 Thunderbird Convertible. The car is 90% restored with new paint, chrome, top. Rebuilt motor, tranny ,rearend all matching numbers. It does have a sports roadster cowl that is obviously not original but looks cool. It also has simulated Kelsey-hayes rims with 4" white walls also not correct but looks good. It runs well and is a real head turner. I still have to do a steering box, front suspension, recover the seats…and…. Most importantly ENJOY IT FOR A LONG TIME! UPDATE November 2012, Arthur Ash III reports it was listed as sold by Classical Gas in Arlington, Texas. UPDATE July 2023 it is for sale in Oakhurst, California. (picture updated)
