This 1961 Thunderbird was owned by Jeff McCrocklin of Middletown, Indiana as of March 2008, and was for sale. Dick Rozum reports that on May 20, 2011 it was being sold at the Mecum auction in Indianapolis, Indiana. UPDATE December 2012, Tim C. notified the Registry that he purchased this Thunderbird at Hershey, Pennsylvania in October 2012 and it is now located in Charlotte, North Carolina. UPDATE July 2018, Glen Hockenjos reports it is now for sale by Streetside Classics in Concord, North Carolina and has 17,252 miles. (picture updated) UPDATE February 2022, Terry O'Connor notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird He says: I bought this car in Florida and had it shipped to Pennsylvania. The interior has been restored.
The next thing is to correct engine oil leaks and upgrade to 445 cubic inches.
