This 1961 Thunderbird Convertible was offered for sale online in January 2012 at Hot Rod PitStop in Troy, Michigan. It does not have a Swing-Away Steering Wheel. According to the owner:
This 1961 Ford Thunderbird Convertible is a "Triple Black Beauty". This T-Bird went through a 3 year restoration and was finished in 2004. The exterior is a nicely wet sanded black urethane and is razor straight. Finishing off the exterior is a black tonneau cover, black convertible top and Kelsey Hayes spoked wheels on wide white walls. The interior was done in original black vinyl. The original 390 engine and 3 speed transmission were also rebuilt in 2004 during the restoration. Front and rear chrome along with side chrome is in excellent condition.
