(former owner) Richard Willoughby says: The car numbers on the door data plate, match the fender and cowl numbers. The glass dating numbers fit with the manufacturing date and the glass appears to be original. It has original working parts, such as engine accessories, carburetor, etc. There was a new or recent replacement of original color interior and a new or recent white top. It was previously re-painted original black color and paint is in good shape. The odometer says 53,500 miles and appears to be correct. It runs fine and drives good. I purchased the car 8/23/05 from a person in Antioch, Illinois who had it for about 8 years. He said he purchased it from someone who had it for about 15 years. I have no supporting paperwork for the car, only the last two titles. I am interested in how to find out more of the history of the car. UPDATE, former owner Richard Willoughby says: I sold the Car in July 2010 to a person in Illinois. He sold it in March 2012 to a person in California. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - UPDATE October 2013, Richard Beck notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. UPDATE August 2015, Richard says: I am being transferred to Houston from California. The car now resides in Houston. I did replace the white top with a new black convertible top. I think it looks better than the white. It has been converted to Petronix and I added front disc brakes. The car runs and stops and looks great. (picture updated)
