This is a 1963 Thunderbird Hardtop. It is Sandshell Beige (T) with a Corinthian White roof (M) and a beige vinyl interior (54). It was scheduled for production on November 7, 1962 (07L) and ordered through the Rockford, Illinois District Sales Office (43). It has a 3.00:1 rear axle ratio (1) and Cruise-O-Matic transmission (4). It was sold new by Jacob Ford in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. William Wonder documented this car, and he reports that in the mid 1990s it was complete and running well with 48,000 miles on the odometer. UPDATE March 2015, Alice Kooiman notified the Registry that she owns this Thunderbird. She says: Purchased in Rogers, Minnesota in 2013 by Alice Kooiman of Hager City, Wisconsin. Great car, it is driven weekly during the summer. Body and floor are solid. All systems work except the clock. This car does not have power windows or A/C. It does have a power drivers seat. Very fun to drive. (picture added) UPDATE May 2018 it is for sale in Rochester, New York. As of October 2018 its location and status are unchanged.
