This Thunderbird was documented in November, 1996 by Doug Bakkene when he spotted it in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. At that time the Thunderbird was missing its correct 3/2-V carburetor. He purchased it and then sold it on September 27, 1997 to a person in New Jersey, who subsequently restored the engine to its correct carburetor setup, and in turn sold it to another person in New Jersey.
