This 1963 Thunderbird Hardtop was for sale on Classiccars.com. It was being sold by Buy Rite Autosales in Fort Landerdale, Florida. It is being described as white with black interior. UPDATE August 2011, Karl Hudson notified the Registry that he purchased this Thunderbird on July 31, 2009 (making the "for sale" site outdated when first registered), and it resides in Australia. Karl says it has 1962 Thunderbird front end, dash, and door trim and a 1965 Thunderbird engine. Karl adds: "I intend to restore it to original condition as far as possible,
not for concourse purposes but just to make it original. My wife Gina was the one who fell in love with it as soon as she saw it so as the saying goes "Happy wife Happy life". However I will admit that we have had some great times driving around and going on trips." This Thunderbird's 1963 carburetor was purchased from Gotta Fish. UPDATE 9/5/2011, production codes added. November 2013, Karl reports he has purchased an engine block and transmission from 3Y87Z102655 which is RN 51194; that car is at C. T. C. Auto Ranch in Texas. - - - - UPDATE March 2016 Karl adds: I have recently changed the front suspension back to original. The lower and upper control arms, springs, and spindles are all now correct 1963 year. I have received the correct year engine and have had it reconditioned. It is to be assembled soon and I will test the engine on a test bench before installing it into the car.
