Wayne Sumpter says: I bought this Thunderbird on a used car lot and was told it had been in storage for 20 years. It came with expired New York tags. It's very clean, interior has cracked left armrest and the fuse box cover wont stay up. The front end sways into right turns unless you're on the gas. The engine bay is covered in a "patina' of oil androad grime. The trunk liner doesn't stay up on the sides but is there. It has 2 light rust blisters (haven't broken the paint) - some light body work. I believe that the paint is only about half original; I have had it about 2 yearrs and have put around 6,000 miles on it. It is a treat to drive, the only complant: don’t drive into the setting sun with a headache!
