This 1963 Thunderbird Convertible was scheduled for production on October 9, 1962 (09K) and ordered by a Ford dealer through the Cincinnati, Ohio District Sales Office (31). Documented by William Wonder, this car has been reupholstered in red leather. UPDATE June 2012, Dennis Dole reports it was sold at the RM Jerry Capizzi's Cappy Collection Auction (Lot #326) in November 2006. (picture added) UPDATE July 2019 it is for sale at The Stable, Gladstone, New Jersey. UPDATE May 2021, it is for sale at Classic Auto Mall in Morgantown, Pennsylvania. As of January 2022 its location and status are unchanged. UPDATE January 2024, Steve Kramer notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird.
