John W. Meyer says: In 1982 and early 1983 I massively restored this 1963 Thunderbird. It was a standard convertible with an aftermarket tonneau cover that I brought as close as possible to original appearance. I purchased aftermarket wire wheels that looked identical to BW's. Had the car refinished in Ragoon red and found a shop in Dearborn that had NOS seat skins in red. I even had the clock fixed, not updated. I bought new emblems and "Birds". I truly was in love, but had a mother to care for and had been off work for 7 months ( railroad ). I just wish I could find where she is; still can't afford to bring her home, but she truly is my baby. If you can help or tell me how to look her up, please help me !!
