Michael Lance says: My car is a 1963 Chalfonte Blue Thunderbird. It was produced at the Wixom, Michigan Assembly Plant and originally shipped to Carter County Motor Company in Elizabethton, Tennessee (Invoice No. 3Y85Z, Unit Serial No. 146581). It is equipped with: a white convertible top, back seat Tonneau cover (since added), AM/FM radio, tinted glass, windshield washer, seat belts, fender shields (now removed), Kelsey Hayes wire wheels (since added), vacuum assist door locks, and engine dress-up kit (since added). I restored this T-bird in 1986 to concours condition. It took a 1st place trophy in 1990 at the National VTOA Meet in Houston, Texas. I sold it later that year. It changed hands two more times since I let it go in 1990. I re-purchased this car June 18, 2003. It was stored for awhile, but has been driven the past couple years by Reverend Moore in Amarillo, Texas. The reverend says a rebuilt 390 CI engine was installed about 5 thousand miles ago.
