It has a 3.00:1 rear axle ratio (1) and Cruise-O-Matic transmission (4). This Thunderbird was sold new by the Rozum Motor Company of Mitchell, South Dakota. It is equipped identically to RN 3296 and was leased to the same company (see below). This Thunderbird was leased to Kuipers Construction Company on November 2, 1962. At an undetermined date, it was sold to Lyle R. Jones, of 1009 Colorado Street, SW, Huron, South Dakota. The present status of RN 3297 is unknown. See also RN 3296.
