In September, 2003, owner George Ballard contacted the Thunderbird Registry. George states that this Thunderbird was sold new on February 28, 1963 at Stockton Quincy Ford in West Los Angeles to a Mr. William Cockrell of Culver City, California. The car runs well and has been in several shows in southern California. The top has been replaced and the knock-off hubs have been changed to standard 1963 inserts. George has owned RN 1432 since December, 1999. - - - - UPDATE November 2012, Dennis Dole reports it was sold at a 2007 Palm Springs Exotic Car auction for $8,100. Phil Skinner reports it was in Queensland, Australia.
