Andrew Weems says: I purchased my 1963 Thunderbird Special Landau 5 years ago from original owner in Anniston, Alabama. It still has the factory leather interior and trim. There is no body damage, and no rust. The console plaque has number 609 of 2000. The ROT sheet was located behind rear seat. Options include power seats, power windows, SelectAire Conditioner, AM radio only. The odometer reads 78,000. I have had to replace only the vinyl roof, carpet, and dash pad. The body does need paint. Some time in the past ownership, the white was replaced with a hideous brick red. White is bleeding through in some areas. It is currently garaged but only driven about every other weekend. The engine looks original, except the valve covers are Ford Blue. The brakes, booster and lines have been replaced. The engine bay is in the process of detailing. The chrome is very good condition with no rust. There is some slight pitting on the "Q's".
All undercarriage has been checked out, and all of it is in very good condition. It has single exhaust with the muffler in correct position. I purchased the car with no skirts or wheel covers. The owner claimed they were stolen years ago. It is a very fine auto that runs and drives excellently. It has no leaks what-so-ever. The air conditioner is colder than my daily driver
