This 1963 Special Landau was documented in January, 2000 by Don Kimrey of Kansas City, Missouri as being owned by Dick Crum of Kentucky. This 1963 Special Landau is Number 864 out of a total production of 2,000. UPDATE January 2013, David Babij notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says: I recently acquired this vehicle(1/26/2013) from the prior owner in Arkansas, who acquired it in 2007 or 2008 from a party in Wisconsin. This is a true survivor in great condition. The odometer reading is 55,929. Everything is original, but it has 3 upgrades: dual exhaust, low profile Kelsey Hayes wire wheels (including spare), and chrome engine dress up kit. UPDATE November 2014, it is for sale in Memphis, Tennessee. January, 2015, Rick Espolt says: I purchased the car in December 2008 in Madison, Wisconsin. It was trailered to my shop in western Arkansas and driven very little. Five years later, it was sold to David Babij in Memphis, the current owner. As of May 2015 its status was unchanged.
