[Former owner] Robert Novak says: I just purchased this 1963 Thunderbird Special Landau. I was interested to see how many of this type were still around. It is the Special Edition of which only 2000 were produced. UPDATE May 2018, David Young notified the Registry that he owns this car. He says: A Monaco Limited Edition #1879 purchased from an estate in Houston, TX. February, 2017. It is intact but not original with a black vinyl top in place of the factory rose beige installed by the previous owner. The engine rebuilt to a performance specifications and the transmission updated. The body and paint are well preserved and I have no plans to paint as I like the originality of the paint and the few dings which give it character. It could easily be a daily driver. (picture added)
