This is a 1963 Thunderbird Sports Roadster. It is Corinthian White (M) with a red leather interior (85). This Thunderbird was documented by William Wonder. He states that this car was sold new by Dan Stanley Motors, Inc., of Joplin, Missouri on November 20, 1962. The price was $6,996.60 which suggest that it had most, if not all available options. As of February, 2003 its status was unknown. UPDATE July 2022, Tom Chitwood notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says: This "M" Code Sports Roadster was purchased by me in February of 2022 from the third owner in Butte Montana. Car has only 86000 original miles, Corinthian White with the original red leather interior, vacuum door locks and is otherwise loaded with every available option except a spotlight.
