Ken and Romie Stender say: Our 1963 Thunderbird is one of five Sports Roadsters given away in the fall of '62 by Ford Motor Company as a part of a promotion designed to increase traffic in Ford dealer showrooms. UPDATE January 2014, Dick Rozum reports it is for sale at the Mecum Auction near Orlando, Florida. (picture added) The factory gate release is present and it indicates it was shipped to Dahl Motors in Davenport, Iowa.
