[Former owner Ken Harkema says] This is a 1964 Hardtop I bought in 1990. I repainted it Rangoon Red base with a white top. I did extensive restoration on the car including new drivetrain. I purchased this car from a Navy man by the name of Jim Dent who was being transferred to Japan and he could not take it with him. I later resold the car locally to Brad Burke and he sold the car several years later. I do not know the location of the car now. UPDATE November 2013, Jim Moe reports it is for sale by California Play Toys in Corona, California. (picture added) As of December 2014 it is for sale in St. Ann, Missouri. UPDATE May 2015, Barry Wilson notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says: I bought this car from D. Schmitt Co. in February 2015. I bought it as 'restored', but I guess we had different definitions of that. Still, a very nice car even if it only starts in neutral. I plan to keep it, care for it and enjoy it.
