John Rotella says: I bought my 1964 Thunderbird Hardtop in March, 1974. The original owner was F. Herbert Prem of Larchmont, New York. Mr. Prem bought it new from Flinn Motors in Larchmont. Upon the passing of Mr. Prem in early 1974, his Thunderbird was sold to Griffin Ford of New Rochelle, NY, who then sold it to me. UPDATE October 2011: Registry Number 1 has had significant system and component renovation over the summer. Work continues in October; the build sheet image was added. UPDATE November 2011, a second build sheet was discovered in the car. It was located under the springs in upper right rear seat cushion. UPDATE September 2012, new front coil springs have been installed. UPDATE January 2020, New York State DMV historical registration is current. - - - - - - - - - - UPDATE May 2021, it was driven legally, safely, and as originally intended for the first time in 11 years.
