Michael Dovalis says: I am the proud second owner of a 1964 Brittany Blue Thunderbird Hardtop with light blue interior. It is loaded with SelectAire Conditioner, power windows, Safety Convenience Control Panel, 4 way power driver's seat, deluxe wheel covers, fender shields and 1 1/4" white walls. It was love at first sight when I saw my brother's friend's mother pull into the driveway when I was 14 year old (1973) and it has been that way ever since. I named the car after the "late" owner and she is now referred to as "Catherine". Catherine was a special order by her. It was delivered in St. Paul, Minnesota by Towns Edge Ford, I believe December 23, 1963. I now live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and sent her along in the moving van that my furniture was stored in. = = = = = =
I have had her in many shows and have won two awards, one of "10 best" and show favorite. Catherine looks and runs like showroom new and gets only the best. I enjoy postwar American cars and there are many cars that I would love to own, but none can replace the feeling I have for Catherine. No other car will do, and I have had my share!
