Scott says: Very little is known about my T-Bird's history. My friend's father passed away and he had this in his barn in Loyal, WI along with a dozen other cars. My friend stated that her father had it for about thirty years and never touched it. His Wisconsin title stated that the car was previously titled in Iowa. The odometer reads 58,530. I'm certain that the interior is original and it looks like the body has had one re-spray in the original Navajo Beige long ago. The car had simply sat too long. Though many years of dust and dirt cleaned off nicely, every knob, bezel or switch that was originally made to turn, pull or push was seized when I obtained the Bird. I recently had the engine and transmission rebuilt ( it did run but had extreme blow-by). With many new parts and a ton of time, it now runs, drives and stops but still needs the typical vacuum work, column shift repair and all of the other common T-Bird work. It's a labor of love. I've owned it for eighteen months now. - - - - - - Click on rn63789e.jpg to see a picture of the beige cloth interior, with reclining passenger seat and headrest.
