Don Rusas says: I purchased this car in 1982 off from a farmer in Traverse City, MI. who originally had two cars that he was building in to one. My father and I work together to restore her. The engine has been rebuilt along with the transmission. The transmission is missing the passing gear but will still put you back in your seat. The paint is a 7 coat pearl color. The interior has been restored to original including header and carpet. The roof has been recovered with a dark aqua Landau cover and is in mint condition. There is a minor electrical problem that after the car has warmed up the head lights will randomly turn off for a second and come back on. It is strange because the rest of the lights (dash, brake, tail), will all stay on.
The photo was taken the day I put her in storage 20 years ago. She has been covered in an indoor storage facility in Detroit for the entire 20 years. [It has power windows and Safety Convenience Control Panel.]
