This 1964 Thunderbird Hardtop sold at the Silver Auctions- Sun Valley Auction (Lot #39) in September 2012 for $4,900. UPDATE, May 2014, Frank Goodhue notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says: We bought the Thunderbird Oct. 2013 at McCormick's Auctions in Palm Springs, CA. for $6250. It still had Idaho plates on it. We bought it off the lot, not at auction, as it was on consignment. The owner from Canada bought it at auction for $7245 , but left it behind for sale in Nov. 2012. It didn't sell at the Feb. 2013 auction, high bid $6500. It has SelectAire Conditioner, Fender skirts, tinted glass, two tone, power driver seat, power windows, Am radio, with rear speaker, reclining passenger seat/ headrest, Safety Convenience control panel, deluxe wheel covers, and the first owners nameplate on the dash.
I needed to replace vacuum lines, 4 new tires, front shocks, tune up, and fixed loose gearshift, everything works like new. Daily driver. 94,00 plus miles on it, and original nameplate of first owner on the dash, and in the original owner's manual. Came with second, and third owner's insurance paperwork.
