This is a 1964 Thunderbird Hardtop. It is Prairie Tan (P) with a Palomino vinyl interior (P). It was scheduled for production on February 20, 1964 (20B) and ordered through the Houston, Texas District Sales Office (62). This Thunderbird was owned by Brisbane resident Mark O'Neill after it was imported to Australia by Roly Leahy Custom Imports. John Carlisle reports that Mark gave it a full restoration and loaded it with every option except Recliner passenger seat, AM/FM radio and speed control. He also had a matching palomino vinyl roof applied finishing it off with Landau bars and trim. As of April, 2003 its owner was unknown however it is believed to be in northern Queensland, Australia. UPDATE December 2015, Stewart Hood notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says: I have owned this Thunderbird for seven years. It is registered on the road. It's in good condition and has had heaps of electrical work carried out. Transmission overhauled by me. lots of suspension work down. 85,000 miles and drives great. We belong to the Thunderbirds of Queensland Club. She is very reliable and a pleasure to drive. She has been in Australia since 1991. (picture updated)
