This 1964 Thunderbird Hardtop was spotted at the Tri-State auto swap meet at the Wichita Pavillion and Coliseum in Wichita, Kansas. Equipment included air conditioning, power windows, power driver's seat, and a rare find. The original owner's name plaque is attached to the console - the name scribed was L. C. MCCool. This car was for sale. It was only in need of minor restoration work including on car was the deluxe wheel covers. - - - - - - - - -UPDATE January 2016, Joseph R. Gross notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says: I purchased this car in September of 2009. It was Special Ordered in January 1964, by Mrs. Elsie McCool and delivered to Dick Price Motors,O.S.T., in Wichita, Kansas on March 5, 1964. It has SelectAire Conditioning, Power Windows, Locks, Drivers seat. Deluxe wheel covers, and Fender skirts.It was ordered in Linclon Continental "Arcadian Blue" and it has Linclon Continental "Light Blue Cloth Interior". The original Owners Name Plate is still attached to the center console as "L.C. McCool". The Original 1964, State of Kansas License Plate is still registered to the car. It is a true Survivor with 91383 miles on the odometer.
