Joe Fleck says: My 1964 Thunderbird Hardtop has a manufacture date of 3-13-64 at Wixom. It was invoiced on 3-16-64 to Gager Keim Ford, Columbus Ohio. It was sold to Mr. Preston Davis of Columbus on 4-11-64. After his death sold back to dealer who placed it in his private collection. I purchased it from that collection on July 3, 1995 with 29,989 miles. I rehabilitated the engine and compartment and converted it to a primary show car (a little crusin' on occasion) and the car now has 40160 miles on it and has won it's class in most major shows in central Ohio. The Dynasty Green paint with matching interior is outstanding. It is a top #2 car that provides many hours of enjoyment for my wife and I. The car is all original as all rehab has been done with factory parts etc. The paint touchup has also been done with correct factory paint code (D-4 Dynasty Green). I belong to VTCI and particpate with many of their members in various car related activities. = = = = =
In November 2008 Joe added: in August of 2007 I was invited to, and did, particpate in the Meadow Brook Concours show in Rochester Michigan in the class "closed personal luxury cars 1956-1966. I was the only T-Bird so invited. Since then I have been invited to participate in two others including the Ontario Canada Concours. It was quite exciting for me and the "green queen".
