According to the book "Thunderbird!" by Ray Miller, this Thunderbird was owned by Mr. Les Taylor of La Jolla, California. It is featured on pages 272-275 of that book which was published in 1973. UPDATE March 2013, Matt Gresser of Illinois notified the Registry that he owns this car. He says: I received the car as a gift from my father for high school graduation in May 2006. He purchased it for $1000 from a gentleman in Rockdale, Il. Somewhere between California and Illinois, the car received a 460cu.in. from a 1969 Lincoln, and a light blue paint job. The car had sat for several years in my possession before I had the opportunity to make her road worthy again! it still needs some small odds and ends finished but for the most part, seems to be complete.
