Dave Gilbert says: My 1964 Thunderbird Hardtop has been with me for 36 years (as of 2012)! I purchased it in 1976 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with approx 83,000 miles, drove regularly until approximately around 1995, occasionally since. It has 148,000 on its original engine but now ready for rebuild. The only priginal extras on this car are power windows and recliner/headrest passenger seat, pretty basic car.
