John Winkler says: Someone had pulled the 390 and dropped in a 2bbl 352 from a '59 truck. I pulled the intake after purchase and it was gummed up, valve seals rotted out, and sludged up. So the car is getting a fresh engine build with a "Mercury 410". I had purchased a 428 for it, but the block had a crack at the #2 main. I have a complete Edelbrock Top End Kit for it, Holley 750 Double Pumper, roller rockers, and a set of Sanderson Headers. It is getting a C6 conversion, 3.5:1 locking axle, and I will be converting to a floor shifter as the column shift is worn out and I understand that they are a terror to fix.
I know it came out New Orleans and I bought the car just east of Huntsville, Alabama.
