I rescued it from a barn in Elkhart, Indiana. It has a very solid body. It just had all new shocks,springs,tuneup and basically needs some minor interior work. Then I plan to cruise her till the wheels fall off. We get thumbs up, honks, waves and compliments everytime it's out. ----- This registration was originally submitted by JD Dwyer: This is a 1964 Thunderbird Hardtop. It is Samoan Coral (L) with a white vinyl interior (53). It was scheduled for production on July 1, 1964 (01G) and ordered through the Indianapolis, Indiana District Sales Office (34). As of June, 2004 it was in Elkhart, Indiana. - UPDATE May 2016 it is for sale in Reno, Nevada. (picture updated) - - UPDATE December 2021, John Raimondo notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says: I purchased this car from a woman in Bellingham Wa who stated she had purchased the car from a person in Reno. It now is my pride to drive this car a couple times a month in the South Texas area where I live in New Braunfels. The car is still original and runs beautifully.
