David M. Karnes says: I purchased my 1964 Thunderbird Hardtop from the second owner. The first owner had it 33 years and lived in Beverly Hills ( he was 93 years old). The car is in excellent condition, and has 49,000 original miles. It was used in a movie and for commercials way back when. I had the engined detailed and repainted ( original Navaho Beige color) by Image Auto Works of Palm Dersert. The interior is original, it had a little work done on driver's seat and new foam installed. I had some re chroming done. I have invested ~ $10,000 in restoration. The only remaining item is to repair the dash, it has 3 cracks in it!
