Nick Griffo says: My Thunderbird was built for the 1964 World's Fair. It was never sold by a dealer; it was shipped from Wixom to Ford's sales office in White Plains, New York where cars were prepared for the Fair. FEATURES----Original chrome, interior, and trunk interior. It has had a recent repaint in rare Prairie Tan. It has a black engine compartment and fender wells in verified factory paint - all other 1964s are in the body color. The car spent most of its life in Florida and as a result the undercarriage and suspension are virtually new. I attend many shows and have won many prizes including first place and best of show. It is truly a wonderful car! I am a member of the Heartland Vintage Thunderbird Club and enjoy reading "Wings and Wheels". I am glad there is now a Registry. ---- Registrar's Note:This is a 1964 Thunderbird Convertible. The color is Prairie Tan (G) with a Palomino interior (59). It was scheduled for production on August 8, 1963 (08H). This Thunderbird has K-H wire wheels, power windows, power seat, SelectAire Conditioner and tinted glass. It was a 1964-1965 New York World's Fair car on display in the Ford exhibit. It resides in Buffalo, New York. UPDATE September 2017, New York State DMV registration is current in Erie County.
