Terry Mathieu says his Thunderbird was repainted to color Q (Brittany Blue) when he got it in 1990. The picture sent was taken in 1994 at a Ford employee car show. It is on the lawn between Buildings 3 and 5 in Dearborn. Though apparently purchased in the Detroit area, it was said to be from Florida. It does seem to have a good, solid body, with no sag. It was the subject of an apparent "quickie" restoration job in the 1980s, and could stand another, but better, restoration. Also, the engine and transmission are getting a little tired, and will probably have to be rebuilt in the not-too-distant future. But, it still affords my wife and I plenty of summer fun, especially taking the grandkids out for ice cream.
