It was originally shipped to Dunton Ford, 810 North Main Street, Santa Ana, California on December 13, 1963. It was sold to Ford Motor Company Aeroneutronics Division in Newport Beach, California through the Home Office Reserve District Sales Office (84) as order number 0450. This Thunderbird was known to be in the St. Charles, Missouri area as of September, 2002. - - - - -
Kelly McFall reports that as of September, 2004 it was for sale at FastLane Cars in St. Charles, Missouri for $23,500. UPDATE June 2012, Dennis Dole reports it was sold at the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach 2006 Auction (Lot #321) for $17,280. (current picture added, same condition as previously reported). It has a tonneau cover.)
