This is a 1964 Thunderbird Convertible in Vintage Burgundy (X) with black vinyl interior (56) that includes passenger recliner and head rest. As of September, 2002 this car was in the Stone Mountain, Georgia area, and was recently sold to a new owner. car features include: big (390) engine, automatic CONVERTIBLE top drops into trunk with metal boot (roadster look), maroon with beautiful black interior, power brakes, power steering, full fender skirts, swing-a-way steering wheel, front passenger bucket seat reclines and has telescoping headrest. Less than 2,000 miles (Sunday drives) added since Dad had restoration started. Mechanical restoration steps already completed: new rebuilt 4 barrel carb, rebuilt water pump, rebuilt power steering, new heavy duty battery, rebuilt alternator, new engine mounts, new blowout plugs, new master brake cylinder, new brake cylinders on all 4 wheels, new brakes all 4 wheels, brake hydralic lines replaced, 4 new tires and the full size spare is good. Heavy duty aluminum exhaust system ($500 +)will probably last forever, other misc. stuff -plugs, points, spark wires and more... is, and has been, fully licensed/insured/garaged and driven ever since Dad purchased in January 1964. .....
