This Thunderbird was documented as being a driver by Richard Johnson on behalf of the VTCI. ===== Jerry Wotel reports that he owned this Thunderbird in the 1980s. He has the original factory gate release. This Thunderbird was equipped with the following options: Heavy Duty Battery, Wire Wheels, Tinted Glass, Power Windows, Power Driver Seat, SelectAire Conditioner, AM-FM radio with rear seat speaker, Transistorized Ignition, Safety Convenience Control Panel, White Wall Tires, and leather seat bolsters/inserts. It was sold new by Leon Ames Ford, 15770 Ventura Boulevard, Encino, California. The MSRP was $6,522.50 and the invoice is dated February 1, 1964. UPDATE March 2013, Glen Hockenjos added the picture and says it sold on eBay for $4,300 on September 27, 2009 while located in Emeryville, California.
