In 1991 it was awarded the Senior First Place award at the AACA meet. This Thunderbird is part of Jim Cockerham's contributions to the Registry, from a list of cars that he worked on or parted out over the years. It was last known to be in North Carolina. UPDATE August 2013, Barry LeBlanc of San Diego, California notified the Registry that he owns this car. He says that he bought it at an auction in Burbank. September 2014 it is for sale at Precious Metals, 3647 Dalbergia Street, San Diego, CA 92113. UPDATE October 2017, Howie Haboush notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. UPDATE May 2021 it is for sale at Orlando Classic Cars in Orlando, Florida.
