David Kamenesky says: I have owned this 1964 Thunderbird Convertible since 1994. The car is beautifully restored in its beautiful Brittany Blue color with white interior. When I received the original gate release many years ago from Lois Eminger, I was especially delighted to learn that the genuine Kelsey Hayes Wheels, (42 spoke, stamped KH) that are on this car did indeed come from the factory and are listed at a cost of $373.10. I also learned that the white vinyl interior was originally white leather and I replaced the upholstery with genuine leather in 2003 at a much higher cost than the original cost of $106.20! The car also has the rare transistorized ignition ($51.50)and the (California) Closed Emission System ($5.30). Other options include the safety convenience panel ($45.10), power windows($106.20),power driver and passenger seats ($184.10), tinted glass ($43.00), and factory air conditioning ($415.10). The total retail price was $6,507.70. - - - - - - -
I also own Registry Number 22689, a 2003 Thunderbird. ------- Richard Johnson of the VTCI originally registered this Thunderbird: This is a 1964 Thunderbird Convertible. It is Brittany Blue (Q) with a white leather interior (83). It was scheduled for production on March 4, 1964 (04C) and ordered through the Los Angeles, California District Sales Office (71). It has a 3.00:1 rear axle ratio (1) and Cruise-O-Matic transmission (4).
