John Bowman notified the Registry on April 1, 2006 that he owns this Thunderbird. John Bowman says: Lou serviced my 1965 Thunderbird and I saw this when it was just basically a frame. Then I saw it and fell in love when Lou got it together. Then I bought it when he finally wanted to sell it. Thanks Lou!
------------------ This Thunderbird was formerly owned by Louis Nicholas of Orange, Connecticut. Louis Nicholas says: My 1964 Thunderbird Convertible was originally Prairie Bronze but I had it painted burgundy. It came equipped from the factory with a tonneau cover, Safety Convenience Control Panel, Power Windows, Power Seat, Reclining Seat and Headrest, SelectAire Conditioner, AM-FM radio with rear speaker, Tinted Glass, Transistorized Ignition System, Heavy Duty Battery, and Fender Shields. It was sold new by Pacifico Ford Inc., Passyunk at 23rd Street. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The retail sticker price was $6,286.10. I bought it from Bob's Bird House in Pennsylvania. It had a lot of parts missing but was too uncommon to leave it unrestored (that is why I aslo have 2 parts cars). The top is remote controlled.
